Hi there, I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a quick look at this Timken replacement bearing and race set. This is going to give you a high quality LM11949 tapered roller bearing and a LM11910 race. These will replace an outer bearing and race for your agricultural hub model that you see on the screen there. So, if you have that hub you can trust this is going to fit right in place of your current outer bearing and race to make sure everything's gonna rotate smoothly and properly for you. This is a Timken product, so you can trust it is gonna be a very high quality construction.
If you're not familiar, Timken is one of the most well known and highly trusted brands in the industry because their products are engineered with higher quality controls and that's gonna ensure tighter tolerances and runout than your other manufacturers, which in turn will help to reduce vibrations and noise and lead to a longer life when properly installed. And that higher quality is even evident in the way this product is individually packaged and oiled. So, when you get it, it's going to arrive in great condition, ready to be installed for you. Now, of course, if you want to double check to make sure that this is going to replace the current bearing and race you have on your setup, and this does use the industry standard numbers there. So, you can see on our bearing we've got that LM11949 on that inner circle or cone.
For our race, we do have that industry standard number there. It's the LM11910 printed on the outside. So, if you see that those numbers anywhere on your original bearing or race, then you can trust that this is gonna work well for you. If you don't see those numbers, the only other way to verify is gonna be to measure. So, for our bearing we'll measure that inner diameter and that is a very exact measurement.
So, I recommend using some digital calipers that will allow you to go down to a thousandth of an inch. So, you can see here we're sitting at 0.750 of an inch for that inner diameter on our bearing. And then, for our race, we'll measure the outer diameter and we're sitting at 1.781. So, again, it will be much easier if you can just find those industry standard numbers on the bearing or race for your original, but if not, you can use that measurement method, but this is gonna be a great option for you. High quality, long lasting, do a great job.

Gets 5 stars because these are great Timken bearings. My fault that I ordered this Timken SET17 (with L68111 cups) for 3500 lb axles instead of the SET14 (with L68110 cups) to match 3700 lb axles. Same cones, but cup OD is different.
